GOP 2016: what are their chances?
This article provides an interesting take on changing party politics. Who many be expected to reclaim or lose their seats in the coming senatorial elections? John Cornyn is expected to keep his seat, so Texas will continue to be represented by the Republicans in the Senate. However, with the shut-down still looming over the heads of Republicans, can this outcome be entirely expected?
Republicans are still held responsible for the catastrophe of the shut-down. While this may not effect senators, it will certainly effect congressmen, who are elected more frequently and have less of an incumbency retainment advantage.
